Veterans Day
Veterans Day:
Today I conducted research on Veterans Day, my goal was to learn about the history and the purpose of Veterans Day.
Veterans Day started in 1919 when President Wilson called it, "Armistice Day". The purpose of this holiday was show graditude and appreciation to those who have served in the armed forces for the United States.

Snow Covered Sidewalks Could Cost GR Homeowners Big Bucks
Snow Covered Sidewalks Could Cost GR Homeowners Big Bucks- as reported by WZZM 13 News
Summary:
GR residents have not been shoveling their sidewalks in front of their houses, causing lots of problems for walkers and runners. The adminstrators in the GR area are very frustrated with the situation. From now on, they will be putting notices up at people's residence and warning them to shovel the sidewalk in front of their houses. If the residents do not respond and shovel within 2 days, they will be fined a minimum of $195.
Opinion:
I believe that it is the responsbility of the homeowners to shovel the sidewalk in front of their driveway. I think that if they do not follow this simple rule then there will be a lot of issues for children and runners, it is not fair for them.
